When transferring your domain name(s) to us, you MUST have access to the e-mail address of the Administrative Contact for your domain as on record with your current registrar-- or change it to one that you can use. This is required because your current registrar will send an e-mail message to the Administrative Contact to verify that you want to transfer your domain name. If you don't remember what e-mail address is used, don't worry, it's not hard to find out... we'll show you how just below. And its not difficult to change if you have to-- we'll also tell you how to do that. Here's how to obtain the e-mail address of your Administrative Contact and/or the names of your Name Servers: A. If your current registrar is Network Solutions - Verisign
1. go to the WhoIs page of their website, enter your domain name - yourdomainname.com - in "Search Our WHOIS Records", and then press "GO!" B. If your current registrar is Register.com
1. go to the WhoIs page of their website, enter your domain name - yourdomainname.com - Use the text box at the upper left corner of the page labeled "Domain Name Search", and then press "Check It" C. If your current registrar is NOT Network Solutions or register.com 1. If you know the name of your current registrar, you can go to their website and use their Account Manager or "whois" search to find out the information just as explained above for Network Solutions or register.com. Remember, it is not possible to transfer domains whose registration period has expired. You have to renew with your current registrar. After renewing with them, you can transfer your domain to us and take advantage of our low renewal rates.
